Pause.

via

This might be my busiest semester of law school yet.
Minus that one where I moved two states away, started a new job, bought and decorated a house, and planned a wedding. You know, the very first, hardest semester of law school.

Because of the nature of my classes this semester...
more practical assignments
research, writing, drafting estate planning documents
I just don't have the time to spend on blogging right now.
I'm leaving my house at 6 am or earlier every day, and getting home with only enough time to shower and head to bed everyday.

I am still reading your posts, don't you worry.
My little bit of quiet with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning when I get to work.
And I will get caught up with my own posting at some point.
But I refuse to stress myself out over blogging, when it's supposed to be a fun thing.
There are too many other things that stress me out, no need to add another.

But I will return.
Because this little blog is as much of an online journal of our lives for Eric and I than anything.
This year on New Year's Eve, we went back and looked at all of my posts from the year.
It was fun to see the little moments that we had forgotten about.
Good times.
Although I haven't posted about our New Year's Eve yet.
Or our Christmas cruise.
Or anything else since then.

But I'll get there.
For now, I've just pressed pause.

  1. I felt the same way when I was doing my MBA and working full time. Blogging became that thing on my to-do list that never got crossed off, which made me even more frustrated. Take your time and we'll be here when you get back!

  2. Regardless of what courses you end up taking, make sure you do one thing before your next class, sign up for JD match. JD Match is a new—fast and free—way to connect with AmLaw firms looking to hire. It may be the most helpful thing you do this semester. http://bit.ly/xIDcIo

  7. Oh my goodness.. there is no way that I could blog when I was in law school. Although, during my last year I did discovery bridal blogs and somehow found time to devote hours a day to them. Opps.. I still do that even after graduating (and getting married). Good luck to you!!!
