Dear Sufferers of Super-Woman Syndrome:
You don't have to be good at everything. Prioritize. Be intentional. Remember the 80/20 Rule - Only 20% of your efforts produce 80% of your results. Choose your 20% wisely. Make the most of your energy and the things that make you unique. Don't waste effort on things that don't give you a return or contribute to the bigger picture.
This even applies to your down time - before you plop down on the couch with a glass of wine or spend hours reading blogs on your Google Reader, stop and think. Will this activity really relax you, or will it just stress you out more because you're procrastinating when you know you need to be doing something else?
Be intentional with the things that you do and how you spend your hours in the day. Sometimes completing a project, albeit not the most pleasurable activity, will bring a greater sense of peace and balance to you at the end of the day than not doing it.
